ISO 9001 certified quality system
Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001. For your order, it means the way we make and check copper is documented, audited and repeated the same way every time.
Documented procedures
Every stage, from receiving to dispatch, follows a written procedure.
Calibrated instruments
Measuring equipment is calibrated and verified on a set schedule.
Traceable lots
Every result is recorded against its lot, from the first sample to the certificate.
Held when out of specification
Material that misses its specification is identified and held for review.

What we measure, and why it matters
Our laboratory checks the copper at two points: in the melt before it is cast, and in the finished product before it ships. Each measurement protects a property you rely on.
-
1
Melting and casting
Oxygen and temperature are read in the melt before every cast.
What we measure Why it matters Dissolved oxygenBefore each cast Oxygen is what separates OFE copper from ETP. Measuring it in the melt keeps C10100 within its 5 ppm limit, so it brazes and welds without embrittlement and draws with fewer breaks. Melt temperatureSame immersion as oxygen Read together with oxygen, so each cast starts from a known, recorded temperature. -
2
Finished product
Every lot is measured before it ships, and the results go on its certificate.
What we measure Why it matters Electrical conductivity% IACS, every lot Conductivity is what the copper is bought for, and it reveals impurities a visual check cannot. C10100 is specified at 101% IACS minimum, annealed, and a lot that reads low is held for full chemical analysis before it can ship. Chemical compositionMore than 35 elements Copper purity, alloy content and trace elements are measured against the grade, down to parts per billion, and reported for your lot.
Behind every result
Ultrapure water
Standards and dilutions are made with 18.2 MΩ·cm water, free of the minerals that would distort trace analysis.
Analytical balance
Readable to 0.1 mg and verified with reference weights, because every standard and dilution starts with a weight.
Laboratory records
Each sample is logged against its lot. The certificate is generated from those records, so the result on paper is the result for your lot.
